Played at George Park 2, a strong defensive performance from the Giants paved the way for the club's 58-point win in the second round of the 2021 AFL Central West season, with the Giants holding Bushrangers scoreless in the first quarter and restricting them to just eight points by the end of the third quarter.
Giants coach Liz Kennedy was pleased with how clinical her team was in the win over Bushrangers.
"It was a really good match. Our girls were quite clinical," she said.

"As I've said before, what we've been working on at training, you can see the girls putting that into the actual game.
"We had 19 players available on the weekend and every single one of those 19 players did their roles. It was very, very satisfying."
Kennedy said the Giants' backline was on their game on Saturday.
"Again, across the park, we worked really hard and our backline didn't let too many goals go through," she said.
"Once they got to the Bushrangers forward 50, we just broke it down and it was out of there. It was great."

While the local derby is also a big occasion, Kennedy said it was pleasing to see the amount of respect shown between the players from both sides after the match.
"Our girls love playing the Bushrangers. It's a great down the ground derby," she said.
"Being all in the one town, we all know each other and see each other around town.
"The girls went out on Saturday night and celebrated and caught up with a few of the Bushrangers girls. That kind of stuff is really nice."
Kennedy acknowledged Molly McCrossin, Bridget Warne and Aimee Schmidt as three players that were standout performances on Saturday.
"Molly McCrossin was our players' player," she said.
"Bridget Warne, who was a youth girl last year, is playing her first season in seniors. We've moved her from the forward line into a more defensive role. She got the coach's award and Aimee Schmidt, she got the other coach's award too.
"All three of those girls played really well."
The win now has last year's AFL Central West women's grand final winners top after two weeks, while Bushrangers are in second ahead of Dubbo Demons and Orange Tigers in third and fourth respectively.
In Saturday's other match, Dubbo beat Orange 5-9-39 to 3-0-18.
BATHURST GIANTS 12-6-78 (Olivia Johnston 5, Hailee Provest 4, Jayarna Kay, Molly McCrossin, Rosie Snare) defeated BATHURST BUSHRANGERS 3-2-20 (Kelsey Richards, Emily Smith, Nicole Jones)
