Now Karla McDonald, owner of Macquarie Medi Spa, is also throwing her support behind the Vinnies Sleepout being held on the coldest night of the year, in Sydney next month.
On June 17, Karla will sleep rough alongside other CEOs, raising money to support the work of St Vincent de Paul, which in turn will provide food, beds and support for the homeless.
Ms McDiarmid said she will be sleeping out at the White Bay Terminal at Rozelle.

"I'll be sleeping rough, be given a little bit of food, basically experience what a homeless person goes through," she said.
It's first time she's done it and said is open to the experience.
"I just thought I've always wanted to do it... I think it's important more then ever, now since Covid, because more people are doing it tough."
She said in the future she'd like to see Bathurst do it's own version, to further support the charity.
"I've often thought why don't we have our own, that's why I think it would be great to go down see how its run and see if I can help
"In the future, I think we could do it here. We have a lot of business owners in Bathurst we could host our own."
But in the meantime, she is busy fundraising for the event, hoping to reach her goal of $5,000.
"Participants have to raise a minimum of $5,000 so anything above and beyond would be amazing.
"I'm really excited, I'm hoping more people from Bathurst will get involved. You don't have to be business owner, you can be a manager, its great to be able to give back as much as we can," she said.
Ms McDiarmid said it was important people stopped and looked at the issue of homelessness and what they can do to help.
"I think we all need to look at what's going on in our town and how we can help."
