Angus Parsons, Blake Kreuzberger, Cooper Brien, Hugh Taylor, Liam Cain and Mark Sheather are part of the 28-strong squad who will be taking part in coaching sessions over the off-season.
Bathurst District Junior Cricket Association president Stephen Cain said it's great to see players from the city given the chance to learn from some of the best mentors going around.
"It's a great opportunity for them to get some high level coaching. It makes a big difference for the kids," he said.
"They'll show up at one venue together and get coaching from some of the top coaches in country NSW.
"All of them have played in Bathurst teams and some have played in Central West or Western teams and this is a great chance for them to further their games with top coaching - and even from coaches outside our region.
"They'll likely get specialist coaches coming from Sydney, for things like pace bowling, spin bowling and batting."
The selection will give batting talent Kreuzberger valuable practice time as he makes his return from a long injury spell.
St Pat's Old Boys duo Parsons and Brien already have plenty of Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket experience to their names.
Cain was a shining spot for the Bathurst under 16s in what was a tough season for a younger squad.
Opening batsman Taylor and paceman Sheather were part of Bathurst's Central West Cricket Council premiership-winning under 14s team last season.
Taylor finished the season with a batting average of 47.2 while Sheather finished with 12 wickets at an average of 5.8.
Cain said it's important to keep the top junior cricketers in action across the winter months.
"We've already had trials for Bathurst district teams, and we've got the squads for that set up," Cain said.
"They'll be training three times over winter and then we'll be having another tryout for that. The 16s look like they're going to be a great team."
