Bathurst trainers Dean Mirfin, Gayna Williams, Roy McCabe and Wanda Ings will each send one runner around in the JB Civil Concreting Country Class 2 Plate (1,100 metres) - making up half of the small eight-horse field.
But they'll all be up against a red hot Smuggler's Bay, who has began his career for Canberra trainers Ron Weston and John Nisbet with two outstanding wins.
Williams has been pleased by the work Tags has been doing but said Smuggler's Bay is undoubtedly the one to beat.
"We had him out for a short spell coming into winter because we didn't want him out with all this cold weather going on. He's looking good but he'll need to be really good to beat that one coming over from Canberra," she said.
"He's looking spot on going into his first start considering he doesn't have any match fitness and he missed a trial when he was balloted out of one at Dubbo recently, which was unfortunate.
"He's a horse that works hard at home so I'm happy with his fitness and not concerned with that at this stage.
"He's a chance but he'll have to try hard to keep up with that one from Canberra because he's set a track record and it's a very smart horse."
It's been just shy of four months since Williams' Sidestep three-year-old last took to the track.
He showed flexibility in his wins at Parkes and Dubbo earlier this year, winning the first event from a front-running position before bolting through from mid-field for victory in the next event.
Mirfin's Buzzoni resumes following a disappointing outing in the CDRA Country Championships Heat back in February.
He'll carry the top weight for this Tuesday's race but he'll find himself in much easier company as he chases his first win in 19 months.
Know Where To Look has been a consistent performer for McCabe at the Class 2 level without finding that breakthrough third career win.
He's finished runner-up on two occasions at this level since coming across to McCabe from the Brett Cavanough stable but he'll have a wide draw to try and overcome on Tuesday.
The only horse starting wider in the race is Ings' Missile Miss.
Being drawn wide won't be much of an issue for the frequent backmarker but this class has proven a tough one for the veteran mare to escape from.
Racing at Tyers Park gets underway on Tuesday from 12.35pm, with a seven-race program on the cards.
