Running in the first across 307 metres, the Gus Weeks-trained hound, who was backed at $3.30 odds, worked hard to get to the front, finally hitting the lead in the turn for home to finish first in a time of 17.75, ahead of Lilayi ($6.50) and littermate Winlock Crocker ($5.50) in second and third respectively.
The Molong-based trained was pleased with the result and he's got some big plans for his newest dog to start racing.

"I thought he'd win. Two of his other littermates raced today and I knew this one would get to the lead," he said.
"He's got better box manners and they're 500-metre dogs, not 300 metres but you've got to start somewhere.
"He's got a big future. I'm taking him to Dubbo next Thursday for the Red Dog Series, which is $7500 for the winner. There's just a heat and final, but I reckon he'll be hard to beat."
Weekes his opening to make Winlock Moment, who is from Lonesome Cry x Heart Attack, a regular at Wentworth Park in the future.
"I'll get him up to 500 metres in two months time and by then he'll be a Wentworth Park dog," he said.
"He's bred from Lonesome Cry, so he's bred to race there."
Race favourite Winlock Lloyd ($2.25), who is also another littermate of Winlock Moment, finished well back in sixth after jumping poorly from box one.
