The Music Talk Fest will feature a lively panel discussion, hosted by ABC Radio presenter Simon Marnie, with a host of industry experts as panellists.
Panellists include AACTA award-winning composer Amanda Brown, Australian music photographer Wendy McDougall, writer and producer Greg Appel and Sydney hip hop artist P. Smurf.
"This event will explore the synergy between words, pictures and music and how it affects all of us differently," Bathurst Library manager Patou Clerc said.
"Our panel will discuss how important music is in our lives and how we, as a community of music lovers, can support musicians and artists."
The event will also feature a digital exhibition of McDougall's rock photography and live performances by local musicians Andy Nelson, Genni Kane and Jon Wilby.
Above all, it promises to be a night of great entertainment and an opportunity for the local community to meet some of Australian music's most amazing talent," Ms Clerc said.
Music Talk Fest will be held on Friday, July 2, at Bathurst Library from 6pm.
