Bathurst has enjoyed its wettest month since March, with 74.2 millimetres falling across the course of June.

The healthy drop of rain in June comes after consecutive months in April and May when only 39.8 millimetres fell, following a great fall in March of 124 millimetres.
The total of 74.2 millimetres of rain for the month is the wettest June for Bathurst since 2016 (104.8 millimetres) and the second wettest June this century.
So far this year, Bathurst has had a total of 366 millimetres of rain recorded, with the wettest day being February 2 when there was a total of 43.4 millimetres recorded at the Bathurst Airport.

Bathurst isn't necessarily on track - at least going off the current fall patterns - of beating last year's total of 791 millimetres, but it seems likely that 2021 could be the fifth year this century that more than 700 millimetres has fallen.
Forecast is indicating it will be a wet start to July, with rain expected for the region from Thursday to Saturday.
In terms of the temperature, Bathurst's coldest morning in June was -3.1, recorded on Wednesday, June 16.
It's well off the coldest June morning since 2000, which was a low of -7.3, which was recorded back in 2006.
The warmest day this month was June 2, when the mercury hit a high of 18.2 degrees, which is below the warmest June day of 19.6 that was recorded in 2019.
