On Tuesday, July 6, the library will host a night light workshop, with tutor Fiona Howle guiding children in creating a collage that is interactive with a torch, a great way to align with the Bathurst Winter Festival's illuminations. Children will be required to bring their own torch, with the program running from 10.30am-12pm.
A day later on Wednesday, the library will run a movie matinee, with the screening of Paper Planes, a 93-minute long movie that is rated G. Children are encouraged to bring a snack and water bottle, while they'll also receive a paper plane template pack to take home. The movie screening will run from 2pm-3.35pm.
The final program at the library is on Thursday, as local children's author and illustrator Jeff Doherty hosts a writing workshop. Doherty's program is both interactive and practical, helping children to find and build on ideas to write stories. This workshop will run from 10.30am-12pm.

The Bathurst Art Gallery, which is located right next door to the library, will be open during the remainder of the school holidays too, open Tuesday to Friday from 10am-5pm and from 10am-2pm on Saturday and Sunday.
There's a number of exhibitions on at the moment, including the likes of Chester Neale: Etched in Fire, Stirring the ash: Euan Macleod and Andrew Merry and Angela Malone: Winter Paintings.
