Officers from Chifley Police District made a public appeal for assistance after the 25-year-old man was reported missing last Thursday, June 24.
Following extensive inquiries, police say the man's body was located in the Upper Turon area shortly after 9am on Friday, July 2.
Police said the body is yet to be formally identified and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Police said they wished to thank the public and volunteers who assisted in searching for the missing man.
