The Bathurst Winter Festival, which started on June 26, has attracted a number of visitors from across the region and locally as well, however, the winter playground in the Bathurst CBD has been following strict COVID-19 regulations.
Bathurst acting mayor Ian North said the NSW Government's Dine and Discover vouchers have been popular when purchasing tickets.

"The NSW Government Discover vouchers are proving popular with those purchasing ride tickets for the Ferris wheel and carousel. We have sold around 20,000 tickets to these rides so far," Cr North said.
"We sold around 41,000 tickets across the 2019 festival, so we are happy with sales to date."
Cr North said the festival's support has been "pleasing".
"We have had good numbers to the Winter Playground each day and our numbers for Brew and Bite over the weekend were good and within the limits of our COVID safe plan," he said.
"The ice rink has reduced capacity as a result of changes to the public health order, but we have had a number of sold-out sessions, especially on weekends."
