SHE'S had limited experience so far with both of the runners she'll be driving at Bathurst Paceway on Wednesday night but Isobel Ross has loved what she's seen of Urus and Viva Las Vegas.

Ross has the drives on the Amanda Turnbull-trained duo at the upcoming meeting, where Urus goes off the back row in the Cobbity Equine Pace and Viva Las Vegas follows in the next event, the For A Reason Pace (both 1,730 metres).
In her only previous drive with Urus, Ross came away with a third placing at Young in a race where nothing really went her way.
Even though she'll have the back row to contend with on Wednesday night Ross has confidence that Urus can get back to his winning ways.
"He was really unlucky last start. He was caught back three on the fence and he didn't get out until late. He motored home when he got out, and this race coming up looks like a good one for him," she said.
"He's not an amazing trackworker but he always tries hard and Amanda's happy with how he's going, and he's done a great job for his owners."
Urus goes into the race with four wins from seven starts since making his debut in April.
Ross will have Amy Day's well-fancied Irvine ahead of her on the track and she believes that will help her cause.
"I'll probably follow the two through and see where I end up," she said.
"It probably wouldn't worry me if we were caught in the chair or got cover. He's pretty versatile and I'm sure he'll go good."
Viva Las Vegas is a different story for Ross - she's never had the chance to make a race start with him yet.
The Sweet Lou gelding has had a well-travelled start to his career, making four starts in New Zealand last year before having a brief Victorian campaign in spring.
He won both his trials for Turnbull over recent months but makes his first Bathurst race start this Wednesday from gate one.
Despite not having the chance to drive him yet, Ross has a good idea of what Viva Las Vegas is capable of.
"He won both his trials back, and Amanda's been really rapt with how he's gone. We've drawn one and he's got plenty of gate speed so I can choose to hold the front or hand up if there's any pressure," she said.
"I've watched his replays and I was in both his trials where I had the chance to see him and I've worked him a bit at home, but I've never been on him at the racetrack.
"He really looks like he's got a motor."
Viva Las Vegas is likely to start as favourite for his race.
Some of the main dangers include Steve Turnbull's duo of Myra Dawn and Smooth Baht, along with Geoff Lawson's Alta Downs.
Racing at Bathurst gets underway from 5.15pm.
