Mr Head, a 32-year-old husband to Belinda and father to nine-year-old Justin, seven-year-old Louis and three-year-old Clarry, has been battling a rare form of cancer called Erwing's Sarcoma for the past year and a half.
In response to Mr Head's battle, a GoFundMe page was set up to support the family by a friend, Pip Goldsmith, which has since raised an incredible $116,635 as of Thursday morning.
A charity golf day will also be held at the start of next month, with organisers hoping to attract a number of items that will be auctioned off on the day.

Brent Osborne, a friend of Mr Head, said organisers are hoping to attract sponsors for the golf day, with all money raised to be donated to the family.
"It'll be a little Ambrose tournament, nine holes of golf and then we'll have lunch, a few beers and then into a live auction at the club," he said.
"We'll have some different prizes and memorabilia. There's going to be some pretty good items on offer, which will be great.
"We're just encouraging people to come down and play some golf and if businesses want to get on board with sponsorship on the day, that would be great.
"There's a GoFundMe page that is already up to $116,000, which is really good, and then hopefully with this event we can make a fairly significant contribution to the family as well."
The fundraiser day will be held at the Bathurst Golf Club on Sunday, August 1, with the golf action teeing off at 11am.
The entry fee is $250 per team, for the four-man Ambrose competition, with an opportunity to sponsor a hole for $500.
Whether you're a business, team or just a group of mates who would like to enter the competition, contact Mr Osborne on 0422 384 202 or email headfundraiser@gmail.com to book your team.
Live entertainment and refreshments will be made available after the golf tournament, followed by the live auction of memorabilia and prizes.

More then 482 different donors have contributed to the fund, which was started almost a month ago and that has raised over $116,000 in that time.
