Black earned herself a piece of history by being named the zone's inaugural Female Player of the Year title as well as taking home the Junior Player of the Year crown.
Slattery's big season saw him come away with the Senior Player of the Year honours.
The awards were based on performances across all teams and competitions - and no matter where Black and Slattery played they always brought their best cricket throughout the 2020-21 season.
Black hasn't taken long to make a big impact in the region since moving from Wellington just over three years ago.
The young star was pivotal in Western Zone's Under 16s Country premiership, dismissed only once over four innings to finish with an average of 89 for the competition.
At a local level, Black came close to a President's Cup century (89), finished the senior competition with an average of 26.6 and was also an all-round sensation in the Bathurst district under 14s competition.
Black finished the competition with a bowling average of 6.31 and had best figures of 6-7, and picked up a half century with the bat.
Arguably her greatest individual achievement across 2020-21 was her century in the Sydney under 18s Brewer Shield for the Penrith Cricket Club, scoring 104 against Campbelltown-Camden in December.
Black has proven to be more than competitive against players with more than five years of experience in the game than her.

Her bowling figures of 6-11 against Northern District later in the same competition showed that Black will be an all-round force for years to come at the girls under 18s level.
"It's a fantastic achievement for Callee, and she's a great role model for the other girls in the Bathurst community as well," Bathurst District Junior Cricket Association president Stephen Cain said.
"She's been doing a great job with the all-girls Bushrangers team in the Saturday comp and they'll be going up to opens this year where I'm sure they'll give a few of the boys a run for their money. All of the academy girls will be in that team hopefully."
Slattery led the way for St Pat's Old Boys in Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket with the fourth highest run tally in the competition (464) and the second highest average (66.29).
He claimed a pair of centuries in the BOIDC season plus two half centuries to help the Saints reach the grand final.
He also showed off his all-round chops by claiming figures of 5-36 in Bathurst's Western Zone Premier League grand final triumph against Dubbo.
"It's really awesome to win it. It's great to see a lot of the hard work paying off," Slattery said.
"There's been a couple of seasons now that I've had some strong performances. It's nice to see the effort at training leading to rewards.
"It feels like a bit of a breakthrough. It feels like the most consistent year that I've had with bowling, batting and fielding - everything. Everything felt great this year, though I was honestly a little bit surprised to win it.
"It's great knowing that I can compete at that level and gained a lot of confidence from scoring some runs for Western. It was a chance to show what I could do."
In other Central West award categories, Orange's Blake Weymouth was the Colts Player of the Year winner and Mark Frecklington was the Carl Sharpe Memorial Trophy recipient for volunteer of the year.
