"This is a way for all of the kids to show their appreciation for all of the hard work [the Olympians have] done in preparing for over there," director of middle school Chris Jackman said.
"Also, I suppose in these challenging times of COVID ... it gives us a bit of an opportunity to have a bit of fun, which I think is really important for the kids' mental health."
As well as dressing up, Scots All Saints students participated in their own mini-Olympics that featured sack racing, vortex throwing and tug-of-war on Friday.
"They're novelty events that all children can participate in, that's the main key," Mr Jackman said.
"It's not all about winning, but it's about getting out, having a bit of exercise and enjoying each other's company and getting behind the national Olympic team."
