Having to get creative this year due to COVID regulations, the school decided to host a silent art auction showcasing 10 pieces donated by local artists and the students' work.
The fundraiser will go some way to making up for the shortfall in funding for the school as a result of the cancellation of this year's Eglinton Country Fair.
"We couldn't have [the fair] in February, so we had to come up with some other way of raising money," teacher Janean Hanlon said.
"The committee decided that we would do a virtual art show because we couldn't have anyone on site ... every student completed two pieces of amazing artwork for purchase and that will be a $10 donation.

"In addition to that, we were kindly donated 10 artworks from local artists and we put those up for bidding."
The local artists included current and past teachers of the school and an ex-student, all gifting Eglinton Public their beautiful pieces.
Copies of the artwork are displayed outside the school, with a donation box below each piece. Each day, the highest donation will be written above the artwork so people know where the bidding has reached.
The auction will close next Thursday, August 12.
"The proceeds for the art show will go to refurbishing our library," Ms Hanlon said.
"We want to upgrade some of the things in there to make it a more exciting learning space for our students."
To further promote the event, principal Vicki O'Rourke and the art show committee will be at the school from 9am-noon on Saturday.
