WHEN the going gets tough, the tough get going - it's something which CSU second rower Zac Hunt proved in Saturday's Mid West League Cup grand final.

CSU was down 12-0 against the Orange United Warriors at Diggings Oval and in desperate need of some inspiration to wrestle momentum off their rivals.
It was Hunt who provided.
After getting possession some 30 metres out from the line he charged hard through a gap between two Warriors defenders.
He broke an attempted tackle from Trey Lucas, he broke an attempted tackle from Kyran Ahsee and even when Lucas came again he kept driving. It carried him over the line for a try which lifted CSU.
"It pretty much came from nothing. I looked up and saw big boys and thought 'I'm not running at them' so I tried to swerve," Hunt said.
"I thought it would come to nothing, but I just beat that centre and I got away and got over that try line."
It was one of many big runs from Hunt in an effort which earned him man of the match honours and highlighted just how much he has improved in his second season as a Mungoe.
While Hunt admitted he had "all the doubt in the world" when the Warriors scored in the dying minutes of regulation time to snatch the lead, a group of of players he called his "best mates" never gave in.
"I knew they'd start hard and fast, so I thought that if we could win that first quarter, we could win the game. It obviously didn't go that way, but I know our fitness is good and that we'd dig deep," he said.
"We don't have a big forward pack, so lining up against [Will] Cusack and some of their other front rowers, it's torture to look up and see them running at you. But we somehow muscled up in the middle there.
"This club means everything to me, I can't wait to play here for so many more years to come."
Just as he was proud of his fellow Mungoes, Hunt also paid tribute to the Warriors.
"Credit to that Orange side, two seasons in and they're in a grand final. They've got pure talent and who know what can come from those boys in the future?," he said.
"To be honest, it's good we won like that rather than winning by heaps. I never thought we were going to do that but to come down and win like that, I'm so proud of this club."
