Storm has been on quite a journey and is looking for a loving family to take him in.
The grey and white cat has made his way from Nowra to Bathurst and Bathurst Regional Council senior ranger Margaret Gaal believes he was stolen from his previous family.
IN OTHER NEWS AROUND BATHURST:
"We can assume that somebody has taken him, stolen him in other words, and didn't bother to contact anybody and they brought him to Bathurst and didn't bother to contact the previous owner," she said.
When the pound contacted Storm's previous owner, who hadn't seen him since 2016, she was happy to know he was okay but couldn't take him back due to having two other cats.
Storm is desexed and litter trained; he had sustained an injury in his travels but this has been tended to by Stewart Street Veterinary Clinic.
Storm is now available for adoption.
