Business development manager Caite Frisby said the Kelso site had been given a deep clean following the exposure and all staff had been sent for COVID tests.
Mrs Frisby said the infected person was only on the premises for three minutes and only interacted with one staff member.
Social distancing was maintained and both parties wore masks.
"Precautionarily, we just closed the whole business," Mrs Frisby said.
"Our exposure was very minimal ... they didn't touch any of our furniture, they didn't sit down, it was a standing conversation then that person left."
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Mrs Frisby said there had already been one negative test result returned.
"The person who was the point of contact with the infected person, his result has come back negative which is very promising," Mrs Frisby said.
"Trusting all staff return a negative result then we will trade as normal with a slight change to trading in the service department.
"We have been all driveway service, contactless if possible, but we will probably change it so people don't physically enter our premises going forward."
