But while Bathurst will enjoy a sunny few days as winter gets left behind, it's not an indication of a warmer than normal season.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are set to be the warmest days, when temperatures will reach six to seven degrees higher than average, according to Weatherzone meteorologist Jess Miskelly.

However, the sunny weather won't last long as a cold snap is then expected.
"It's a bit unclear exactly when it's coming through, but it will be Friday or Saturday," Ms Miskelly said.
"There will be a rain band and possibly some isolated thunderstorms.

The sun is expected to shine through towards the end of next week, with the days reaching average temperatures before another cool change creeps in.
