Jody Bryant, who teaches the year five/six class at Raglan Public School, decided to show the students what keeps him motivated during lockdown.
Mr Bryant's hobby is harness racing, so he strapped on a GoPro in a trial to capture some footage.
"I thought it would be nice for them to see what I do for a hobby and what brings me excitement and joy," he said.
"I'm going to get them to send a video or describe what their hobbies are or what they're really interested in and then hopefully we'll make a video and show the rest of the school so they can be proud of their achievements and what makes them excited and happy."
Mr Bryant said he felt it would be a fun project for the students and give them something different to focus on from their everyday online learning packs.

"It's something that they can own; it's something they can choose rather than what we set out for them," he said.
Aside from getting the students excited and motivated about a task during lockdown, Mr Bryant wanted to show his students that it's not all about winning, it's about the journey a hobby or sport can take you on.
"As adults we know not that many make it to the top, but it's about the friendships and about making those connections with other people, that's the important part," he said.
"It's not about the winning, but when you win, it's good fun, isn't it?"
