The library's free eLibrary will prove invaluable to residents during this time as it offers thousands of e-books, e-audiobooks and e-magazines downloadable to a smartphone, tablet or computer.
"Simply go to our website to join up and we will email you a member confirmation and details on how to get started with the eLibrary," Bathurst Library manager Patou Clerc said
"This will be a temporary membership but it can be easily transferred to a permanent membership when the library doors open again."
