Inspector Paul McCann said officers executed a search warrant on Wednesday morning at a home in Orange and arrested a 16-year-old male, who has subsequently been charged with three counts of aggravated break, enter and steal, destroy/damage property, take and drive conveyance and fail to comply with a COVID notice.
One motorcycle was recovered during the search warrant, and Inspector McCann said investigations were ongoing.
Inspector McCann said the juvenile was refused bail by police and appeared before a Children's Court on Thursday.
He said it was a combination of great policing and community information which led to the arrest.
"It's always great to get help from the community and, in this case, there was help in that regard," Inspector McCann said.
