Member for Bathurst Paul Toole reported that Bathurst's active case total has now come down to 13 (with 43 recovered) after zero new cases were added in the 24 hours to 8pm Tuesday.
It followed one new case for Bathurst in the 24 hours beforehand, which itself followed four days of zero new cases for the city.
He reported that Oberon now has three active cases and a new case at Lithgow (a household contact) has taken that town's active case total to 15.
The Western NSW Local Health District had 24 new cases in the latest reporting period, which is similar to the numbers from the past few days.
The new cases were made up of 16 in the Dubbo council area (all of them in Wellington), one in Walgett, five in Cowra and two in Oberon.
Across NSW, the state had 863 new locally acquired COVID cases to 8pm on Tuesday.
There are now 212 cases in intensive care and 108 requiring ventilators, which was down again on the 24 hours before.
The number of deaths jumped in the 24-hour reporting period, however, and included another person at Dubbo.
There were 15 deaths: five people from south-western Sydney, three people from western Sydney, one person from Sydney's inner west, one person from south-eastern Sydney, one person from Sydney's eastern suburbs, one person from Newcastle, one person from Lake Macquarie, one person from Dubbo, and one person from Batemans Bay.
The NSW Government says the state is now up to 61.7 per cent double doses and 86.2 per cent first dose.
