Bottles of Angullong wine, ordered by someone who didn't want their name known, were recently hand-delivered by Angullong's Heidi Crossing.
"It moved me to tears," Anna Franceschini from Dolce Sweets and Treats said.
"On the card, it said it was for all the businesses that make Millthorpe so precious. It's whoever organised this that makes it so special."
IN BUSINESS NEWS AROUND BATHURST:
Mary Dowrick Debere from Millthorpe Blue said the gift was all a bit overwhelming.
"There are some businesses in Millthorpe that are really quite new, so to be slammed shut like that is really difficult for them," she said.
"The donors have seen that the businesses are doing it hard, and this is a magnificent gesture."
Sue Pardey from the Trade Caravan said that at first she thought it was a case of a wrong delivery.
"Heidi was standing there with the bottles and I was convinced that she was in the wrong shop," she laughed.
"It really was an extraordinary gesture by whoever it was that donated the wine."
