Under current guidelines set out by the NSW Government, community sport can only continue when the state hits 80 per cent double-dose vaccinated against COVID-19.
While that'll mean team sports can start playing again in late October, there still remains uncertainty for the athletics club as guidelines are much vaguer because of the amount of people that attend meetings.

Bathurst little Athletics Club president Mike Curtin is hoping a start date can be penned in soon.
"We're going to wait and see what the state government says," he said.
"I got an email from little athletics HQ to all centre directors saying that it's most important that no competition or training is being conducted or planned at this point in time.
"The biggest problem for athletes is we'll have 200-300 people gathering together at the one place and we don't know if that can happen or not."
The 2021-22 Bathurst Little Athletics season was originally scheduled to get underway this Thursday, however, it was postponed due to the lockdown in Bathurst, that came into force back in August.
But that hasn't stopped some of the club's top athletes - such as Will Curtin, Byron Rosier and Coby Borgstahl - from doing their own personal training.
"They're all back in training in isolation obviously, so they're starting already for their season," he said.
"I also know quite a lot of our female athletes are doing the same thing.
"There's a lot happening behind the scenes, there's just nothing happening all together at the moment. We'll see what happens."
