The pair started as short priced favourites for their respective heats in the two-year-old colts and geldings series, and Amanda Turnbull kept them each in the lead from start to finish.
Saint Veran ($1.18) scored a seven metre win after breaking away from both Wattoblazeofglory ($21, Wayne Watterson) and Amami ($7.50, Bernie Hewitt) at the top of the straight.
It was a similarly comfortable success for Allstarzzz Frankie who was able to completely switch off with 50 metres to go, winning by 4m over Bling It Up ($19, Mat Rue) and Shoulda Passed ($126, Casey Owen).
Turnbull said the races followed the best script possible for his horses.
"They both went really good. I probably wasn't quite as confident as their prices might have suggested but they're both very nice horses," he said.
"I couldn't have asked for those races to go much better and both of them got an easy first quarter."
Saint Veran gained a small break on his rivals during the third quarter.
Amami loomed up on the outside and Wattosblazeofglory latched onto the back of Saint Veran but the rest of the field dropped out of the hunt.
Saint Veran then left the pair to fight it out for the minors when Turnbull asked for that little bit extra from her gelding.
"Bernie's horse came at him hard down the back straight and that had me a bit worried, but he kept on with the job really well," Turnbull said.
The Turnbull stable had their eyes on a quinella for the second heat, with The Rainbow Beach ($4.20) backed as the only realistic shot of taking down his short priced stablemate.
Those hopes were quickly dashed at the green light.
"I was actually thought the stablemate might give him a good challenge but he broke at the start," Turnbull said.
"He'd been going well but anyhow he blew it, so that was the end of that show, so when he led and got a couple of easy quarters I thought he'd be pretty hard to beat."
The question is how far the winning pair can go in the series, especially against the likes of Richie Alchin's My Ultimate Byron and Brian Portelli's Smaltese - who were dominated heat winners at Menangle on Tuesday.
"That one of Alchin's has been running sensational times so they might be a bit slippery for us but I'm happy enough with the way my ones have gone into it," Turnbull said.
Meanwhile, in Wednesday night's fillies heats there was a fourth straight success for Mark Hewitt's Not To Be Denied ($1.04) who already has the makings of a star pacer.
The second of the night's fillies heats saw Mat Rue score an upset with Weona Miss Fortune ($10), who made the most of race favourite Perfect As I Am's misfortune at the start.
