In A grade it was Glyn Daunt and Matt Phillips who tied at the top of A grade with 71 nett. Eventually Daunt was declared the winner on a countback to pick up the October medal, Phillips was consoled with the September medal.
Steve McDonald was a shot away in third and the scratch went to Justin Sutton on 73 off the stick.
A lovely 67 nett gifted B grade honours to John Kajar by three shots over Jason Writer, Richard Lesh was also on the podium with 72 nett and the scratch is in the safe hands of Michael Meredith with 86.
A three-way conundrum presented itself to the C grade pack after Chris Hanicar, John Rogers and Ray Curtis all had 72 nett. In the end Hanicar was declared the champion with Rogers picking up the September medal. The consistent Col Hope (93) was presented with the scratch.
It was a battle of the retired hockey stars in the the Jimmy Johnson trophy last Saturday - Wayne Wright and Mark Gunning versus the younger generation of Kel Cooke and Beau Fitzpatrick.
In the end the young guns proved too strong for the veterans in a very tight tussle.
Wild weather put paid to the majority of Thursday's field. The few who made it out were well represented by Tim McKinnon and Peter Weekes, who both had 37 points, with McKinnon getting the judges' nod on a countback. Andre Schuster rounded out third with 35 points.
The honours in the designated veterans competition on Monday went to visitor Darren Healey as his fine 39 points held off Tony Keech and Bill Dickie who both had 38. The Open competition front runner was Damian Bourke with a nice score of 40.
Steve Finnerty was numero uno on Sunday as his solid 38 points gave him the A grade chocolates from Will Johnston and the sweet swinging Mary Housler (36).
Young up and coming junior Blayde Burke had a tremendous day on the links as attested by his brilliant 45 points to leave John Emerson (39) and Terry Dwyer (37) in his wake.
This weekend is the Bathurst Members Invitational in lieu of the Bathurst Open. The best overall 18 hole nett score on Saturday and Sunday will win a $300 voucher along with the normal prizes.
