Alchin made it two from two at the Bathurst Paceway as his pair of two-year-olds who made the trip - My Ultimate Billy and My Ultimate Skeeta - both saluted with form driver Cameron Hart in the gig.
While it was not as big the March evening back in 2014 when Alchin took out the Group 3 Gold Bracelet at the Bathurst Gold Crown Carnival with Shes A Runa by almost 20 metres, he was still delighted.
The trainer's record at Bathurst now stands at 15 wins and 22 placings from the 66 races his team has contested.
In the case of colt My Ultimate Billy, his success at Bathurst over the 1,730 metres trip continued the unbeaten start to his career.
My Ultimate Billy headed to Bathurst with two commanding wins at Penrith to his credit, so even though he drew the widest barrier on the front line, punters still backed Alchin's runner into $1.70 favouritism.
Hart stayed out of the early speed battle, remaining high and wide on the track as Only One Don took the lead.
That move left the favourite three wide near the rear of the field, but as the bell sounded Hart quickly guided him forward to head up the outside line.
With the first half covered in 57.4 seconds seconds it was a test for My Ultimate Billy's legs, but he was more than up to it.
He poked his head in front with 500m to go and by the time he hit the top of the home straight, My Ultimate Billy had put 10m on the field.
He went on to win by 8.4m over Classical Music ($8.50) in the best winning mile rate of his short career - a 1:55.0.
"He only the found the front up the back straight when the leader stopped, but he's the sort of horse that never does much at home, so he sort of surprises us a bit at the races and keeps improving," Alchin said.
"He's only little, but he keeps getting the job done.
"He's a bit versatile, so he's not a one trick pony, he just needs to mature a bit in the head. He's very immature in the head, but once we fix that he'll be right."
My Ultimate Billy will now head to Victoria for the Breeders Crown series, where Alchin hopes he can continue his winning ways and challenge for a Group 1 title.
