The race was a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Bathurst and was one of the most successful to date.
There were 51 ducks in the race, all sponsored by local businesses.
Instead of competing in the Macquarie River, the race was moved to Queen Charlotte's Creek, near Torpey's Bridge, and the new location presented some challenges.
A number of the ducks got caught in the reeds, including several leaders, making way for Dawsons Removals to claim the win.
Central West Foot and Ankle crossed the line second, followed by Regis Resources.
As the sponsor of the winning duck, Dawsons Removals has won $1000 worth of advertising in the Central West Village Voice and radio advertising with 2BS Gold, and $2000 worth of business coaching with Steve Semmens, The Persuader.
Mr Semmens, the coordinator of the duck race, said the event gets bigger every year, with more members of the business community getting on board.
"It's just absolutely awesome, particularly in the particular time, being so tough for everyone. They've just really all jumped on board and it's just been fantastic support," he said.
Each business had to pay $300 to sponsor a duck, and all of the money goes to the local Rotary club to support community projects.
"The Rotary club use that money for local causes. One of the ones that will get a fair bit of the money this year will be RYDA, which is the driver courses for students," Mr Semmens said.
