From Sunday through to Saturday, local carillonists Denise Garland, Wendy Murphy and Jennifer Roberts will share duties on the clavier for a series of concerts on Sunday [2pm], Thursday [Remembrance Day, 11am] and Saturday [2pm], as well as 15-minute performances from noon on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Lyn Fuller from the National Carillon in Canberra will join the local carillonists for the Saturday concert.
Friends of the Bathurst War Memorial Carillon president Jan Page said the performances will honour Remembrance Day, the Carillon's 88th anniversary and raise awareness of the landmark's function as a musical instrument.
"When the Carillon was completed late last year, we agreed it would be played for three different reasons: commemoration, celebration and entertainment," Ms Page said.
"Next week's events will cover all three of those bases, with the selection of songs to cover a large breadth of classics, from the niche to the contemporary."
The Friends of the Bathurst War Memorial Carillon was formed to promote the history and playability of the iconic local landmark, which has stood tall in the community since 1933.
