The wooden toys, including kangaroos, koalas and small cars will serve as essential items in shoeboxes designed to bring joy to less fortunate children globally at Christmas time.
CTW president Elizabeth Forbes said she's proud of what members have achieved over the past six months for a fantastic cause.
"These wooden toys, plus skipping ropes previously supplied, will be added to other items such as hygiene items, school supplies, clothing, watercolour sets and other craft kits prepared by others within the Bathurst and Lithgow areas," Ms Forbes said.
To date, over 500 shoeboxes have been sent to Sydney for freight to children affected by war, poverty, famine and natural disasters in many parts of the world.
This week, the volunteers anticipate packing another 500 boxes, which will be included with the previous lot crafted by members of the Woodies.
Anyone interested in assisting are invited to visit the club situated off Gilmour Street, Kelso on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday between 8.30am and noon.
