He is an incumbent basing his campaign around his record of delivering for the Bathurst community.
The promises he made to voters have all been fulfilled, with items such as a CBD closed-circuit television network (CCTV) and roundabout at the intersection of Mitre, Suttor and Lambert streets now up and running.
But while he has achieved what he set out to do, there are new projects he has become passionate about, which are driving him to run for a second term on council.
"There's still things to do. It's been a great learning curve the last four years," Cr Christian said.
"I've managed to achieve every single thing I told people I was going to [in 2017], and there are still things like the Hereford Street widening and bridge raising, we've got the integrated medical centre that needs support, and I also want to build a skatepark and improve amenities out at Raglan."
He also wants to improve Bathurst's public toilets to better cater to people with disabilities, seal the car park behind the club house at George Park, continue council's work to improve water security, and make an entrance statement with fairy lights from the visitor information centre to Haymarket Reserve.
The entrance statement proposal builds on an idea put forward by councillor Warren Aubin in October, to string lights over two blocks of William Street. Council staff are investigating the feasibility of the idea.

While Cr Christian can say he has achieved a lot in the last four years, it hasn't all been smooth sailing.
The councillor has been in hot water on more than one occasion and been the subject of multiple code of conduct complaints, one of which remains unresolved.
Despite this, he has no plans to carry himself any differently if re-elected.
"I suppose I speak the truth and I call people out, and I'm not going to change that," he said.
"I'm going to continue to hold other councillors accountable and I'm going to continue to be open and honest with the community."
Cr Christian will appear on the ballot paper below the line, along with eight others running as solo candidates.
While acknowledging that it's easier to be in a team, he said he is running on his own merit and hopes the community will remember that he "gets things done".
"I've delivered on every single promise from 2017, and I'm probably the most easily accessible councillor in Bathurst history," he said.
"I work hard for people, people ring me up with a problem and I do my best to find a solution."
