There's no doubt about Amanda Turnbull's driving ability, but her talent as a trainer shouldn't be underestimated, as she notched up her 100th training win of the season on Saturday night.

While she wasn't on hand to witness the milestone victory at Menangle, it was Isobel Ross that had driving responsibilities, guiding New Zealand gelding Old Luke ($21) to victory in the St Johns Park Bowling Club Pace (1609 metres).
"I wasn't there but Izzy drove him and she drove him confidently. He was too good for them," she said.
"It helps that the season is a lot longer, because we're going to December now. But it's good to get the 100th win."

The eight-year-old gelding was one of three runners Turnbull had entered at the leading Sydney track, with Mitch Turnbull driving Viva Las Vegas ($11) to second place in the Allied Express Courier Services Pace (1609 metres) and Ross in the gig for Inter Dominion hopeful Ellmers Image ($11) to eighth place in the Wests Group Macarthur Pace (1609 metres).
Now her attention will be turning to Wednesday night's meeting at the Bathurst Paceway, where Blaze Coops has drawn barrier four in the Bathurst RSL Soldiers Saddle Final (1730 metres).
The three-year-old bay filly is backed as the red hot favourite at $1.65, but Bernie Hewitt's Beta Jewel ($5.50) and Peter Russo's Roll Out ($6) have been well backed too.
While Turnbull admitted Blaze Coops is up in grade, she's confident the filly can get a result if all works out well for her.
"It's not too bad. She's probably up in grade a little bit but if she can get a soft run, she should be some hope," she said.
"She's got a lot gate speed, so if she does everything right, she should cross to the lead pretty easily.
"There's a couple of nice ones there but they did draw the backrow, so they'll have to get around at some stage."
There's $14,994 in prizemoney on offer in the final, the most of any of the 10 races at the Bathurst Paceway on Wednesday night.
Wednesday night's meeting will be the last one in Bathurst before the big Inter Dominion heats the following Wednesday, which is set to be one of the biggest nights of harness racing in the city's long history.
Racing is set to get underway at 6.13pm with the Bathurst RSL Soldiers Saddle Consolation (1730 metres), with the Bathurst RSL Soldiers Saddle Final the fifth at 8.13pm.
The 10th and final race - the Sky Racing Active Pace (1730 metres) - gets underway at 10.51pm, with Turnbull's Mighty George the favourite at $2.35.
