According to the Bureau of Meteorology, significant rain is likely to fall on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the Bureau was forecasting a 90 per cent chance of rain on Wednesday, with between six millimetres and 10mm possible.

Thursday is shaping up to be a day for big rainfall, with 15 to 25mm forecast to fall. The Bureau said there is a chance of a thunderstorm on Thursday, too, which could be heavy.
Friday is set to be the wettest day, with as much as 40mm likely to fall.
It has already been an incredibly wet month for Bathurst.
The region has already recorded 196.4mm this month, making it the wettest November on record without the rain coming this week.
More than 70mm of that rain was recorded on November 12 alone.
