One of the biggest representative games on the Central West sporting calendar - the Western Zone Premier League grand final rematch between Bathurst and Dubbo - suffered cancellation on Sunday.
The match has become a huge fixture over the past half decade, given the two cities' recent strength above all others in the representative arena, and its cancellation is a big blow to both associations.
Bathurst's 2nd XI also went without cricket on Sunday when their Rod Hartas Trophy meeting with Molong was cancelled.
It's the second time already that the Bathurst men have had a trophy game lost, after their clash with Lithgow was washed out (before the latter's departure from the competition forced its restart).
