IT didn't take long after Sunday's Bathurst 1000 for the question to be put forward to winning co-driver Lee Holdsworth about whether he'd like to make a return to full-time driving in the Supercars Championship.

And given the way he'd handled the Walkinshaw Andretti United Commodore all week at Mount Panorama that came as no surprise.
Holdsworth was never far away from the lap times that winning teammate Chaz Mostert had been producing in practice sessions and during the race.
He didn't put a foot wrong during his stints as the #25 entry destroyed all before them when it came to race pace.
There's been two decades worth of Mount Panorama attempts for Holdsworth so the feeling of finally standing on top of the podium was almost indescribable.
"It was so cool. I've been wanting to get this one on the CV for a while and I got it on my 18th attempt. It's pretty special," he said.
"If someone had said to me 'Don't worry, sit out there year, you'll get the Bathurst 1000' I would have said 'Yeah I'll be happy to sit at home'. It's hard watching at home though when you feel like you're capable of running at the front.
"What a way to end a pretty crappy year.
"I think I've ticked this one off the list so I wouldn't mind getting back into full-time driving. I've realised that I'm at the end of my career ... so I wouldn't be holding my breath."
