After almost 30 years establishing the family business, Bedwells Feedbarn owners Chris and Judy Frisby have stepped back and handed the keys over to son Anthony and wife Caite.
The business has been providing locals with pet food and other supplies since 1992 and, if you're after some fresh eggs, they've got chooks.
In 1995, Mr Frisby sold the business and moved the family to Queensland for five years before getting homesick and returning to Bathurst. When Bedwells came up for sale again, Mr Frisby bought the business back and has been running it ever since.
Now the time has come to pass the business on to his son and daughter-in-law and focus on his hobby - harness racing.

"I'm just going to train a couple of horses, there's about 19 of them there at the moment so I'll just be doing that of a morning," Mr Frisby said.
"I'll still be [at Bedwells] a while, I'll help them out with the ordering and things like that for a while until they get the hang of it."
Mr Frisby experienced some great times and some tough times during his life as a business owner.
He said he has met some great people along the way and learnt a lot that he has passed on to others.
Though situations like the severe droughts and COVID proved difficult, Bedwells made it through thanks to its loyal staff and customers.
"I'd like to thank all my customers that have looked after us and supported us in good times and in bad and thank all my staff that has worked for me and still work for me," Mr Frisby said.
"Without all my customers and staff we wouldn't be where we are today."
As of December 1, Anthony and Caite Frisby took charge of the produce which has been part of both their lives for so long.
The couple are looking forward to the adventure owning Bedwells will bring and can't wait for their children to grow up in the family business just as Anthony did.
"We are extremely excited to take over the ownership and operation of Bedwells Feedbarn," Mrs Frisby said.
"We always knew one day we would like to buy Bedwells from Chris and Judy and couldn't be happier that the time has arrived.
"Anthony practically grew up at the shop, going there on weekends and after school and its something our own children will now get to experience.
"Besides Chris and Judy retiring nothing else will change, you will still see them there and we will certainly continue to deliver the same level of friendly Bedwells service everyone is used to."
