WRAS recently released their final netball squad - the last academy squad for 2022 to be named - which features Bathurst's Bronte Cullen-Ward, Samantha Hanrahan, Faith Ryder, Charlee Small and Hannah-Lee Williams.
Bathurst's Laura Scott has also been named as a training partner.
WRAS execute officer Candice Boggs said it's great to see one of the academy's biggest sporting programs going from strength to strength.
"It is probably one of our strongest and most popular programs across the Central West. Trial numbers are always high and it's always very competitive," she said.
"We're pleased that we were able to proceed with the trials and lock in a squad to start their program in February next year."
Netball is often one of the last sports to confirm their squads each season, as they play later into winter than most other programs.

"We run netball on a slightly different schedule to other sports. Most other sports run over the summer then finish with their Academy Games in April, whereas netball gets broken into three blocks, with the first of those being from January to April," Boggs said.
"Because netball's local rep season picks up over winter we tend to step back and give them a break from academy training, since they have a lot on, and then we bring them back over July, August and September to prepare them for Netball NSW state trials in October.
"We're all done finalising our teams now for the new season. It feels good to have all our athletes and coaches selected."
