An alert went out earlier this week from the Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) to say that a positive case had attended the event on the weekend.
The person spent time at the McPhillamy Park and Paddock campgrounds, Harris Park, merchandise alley, inside the Chase viewing area, and at the popular museum.
Bathurst Regional Council general manager David Sherley said that, under the health orders at the time, the museum was not required to close.
However, as a precaution, all staff were asked to get a COVID test.
"We asked staff to monitor for symptoms, but also as an extra precaution we asked all staff to get surveillance tested. At this time they have all come back negative," Mr Sherley said.
He said Supercars worked closely with NSW Health prior to the event to ensure appropriate safety plans were in place to prevent an outbreak.
"And they appear to have worked quite well," he said.
