The weekend cases took the weekly total for the Bathurst region to 31 as the statewide numbers continued to hit new daily records.
There were 2566 new cases recorded in NSW in the 24 hours to 8pm on Saturday, up slightly from 2482 a day earlier.

The Western NSW Local Health District recorded 37 new infections in Sunday's figures, including 10 in Orange, 10 in the Mid Western LGA (including six in Mudgee), three in Cabonne LGA, three in Blayney, three in Dubbo and one each in Walgett, Parkes and Coonamble.
Health officials are urging people to come forward for testing even without symptoms to allow for COVID-19 surveillance.
People who take a surveillance test are not required to isolate while they wait for a negative result if:
- They do not have any COVID-19 symptoms.
- No one in their household has COVID-19 symptoms.
- They, and no one else in their household, is a close contact of person with COVID-19.
- They have not been to any of the places listed as a close or casual contact venue.
Free drive-through testing is available at the old Clancy Motors site on Howick Street.
The drive-through clinic is open from 8am-4pm each day.
