Trained by Bathurst's Jody Bryant, Miss Artistic only made her debut back in September and has since gone on to win twice - at Bathurst and Dubbo - as well as finishing second and third for a total of four placings from six starts.
Bryant is expecting to send the mare for spell, whether it's after Wednesday night's race or after the meeting on New Year's Eve.

"She's about to go for a spell. She might have this start, she might race New Year's Eve," he explained.
"She broke down as a young horse, so we bred a foul from her but we gave her second chance. She made it to the races this time round.
"Since having the foul, she's got to the races and raced six times now. She's due for a let-up.
"She's had two wins, a second and a third, so it's been a pretty successful start to her career but she's up in grade Wednesday night."
Miss Artistic has drawn barrier three for the fourth race of the meeting, the Santa Claus Is Coming Pace (2260 metres) at 7.50pm.
The punters are backing Miss Artistic as the $51 outsider and Bryant admitted it's probably her most challenging race yet.
"It'll be testing. It's definitely the strongest field she's ever seen," he said.
"I think realistically to beat a few home would be great. There's some quality horses in there.
"The number two [Lester Hewitt's Mach Brilliance] is scratched and it was the favourite, so that will bring us in a bit better.
"From that, I haven't really studied where we'll land but if we can land midfield and get home with them, I'll be really happy. It's a step up in distance and a step up in grade."
Bryant is a full time teacher at Raglan Public School, so he's only a hobby trainer, with Miss Artistic the only horse he currently has in work.
Wednesday night's meeting is a nine-race affair, with each race having $6528 on offer in terms of prizemoney.
The first race of the meeting is expected to get underway at 6.23pm, the last running at 10.23pm.
