An official 41.4 millimetres to 9am on Friday and just under 19mm to 9am on Saturday has the city within striking distance of the long-term average for the month of 68mm.
Bathurst's result has been dwarfed by Orange, though, which had almost 110mm in the same period.
Dubbo had 86mm.
A flood watch for the Belubula catchment in the Central Tablelands has graduated into a warning of possible moderate flooding at Canowindra for that river.
Meanwhile, the Bureau of Meteorology says minor flooding is possible on the Macquarie River at Dubbo, Narromine and Warren.
The Macquarie was just under six metres and rising at Warren on Saturday morning.
