Bathurst trainer Roy McCabe has a pair of runners at different stages of their respective campaigns but both with the same winning ambitions as they travel for Friday's meeting at Wellington.
The new meeting was created to give Western and Central Districts trainers an opportunity to race after missing several events due to recent rain, and McCabe is one of several Bathurst trainers who have taken full advantage.
The Drover makes a fourth start this preparation, looking to build upon recent third and second placings at Orange.
The five-year-old Bon Hoffa gelding is a former Highway Handicap runner-up but finished towards the latest field of his latest attempt at the city series, but the recent top three efforts will inspire confidence as he lines up in the Over The Line Racing Benchmark 58 Handicap (1,400 metres).
Know Where To Look makes her return to racing for McCabe this Friday in the Keirle's Pharmacy Class 2 Handicap (1,100m).
The So You Think mare last raced in a Highway Handicap in June and makes her return at a track she's only raced at once before, which was a second placing.
McCabe will hope Know Where To Look can hit the ground running, having failed to place in her two previous attempts at this race distance.
