It comes after concerns were raised about the impact testing queues were having on surrounding streets.
"The district worked with key parties like Bathurst Regional Council, Traffic Control and Chifley Police District to develop and establish a new traffic control management plan at the Bathurst COVID-19 testing clinic this week," a WNSWLHD spokesperson said.
"The traffic management system will be established each morning and queues will be managed and controlled throughout operating hours to ensure minimal impact or delays, along with maintaining the general operation of the car park.
"Staffing levels will also be monitored and managed throughout the day, with the capability to escalate if demand is expected to increase, or does so unexpectedly."
They said the situation will continue to be monitored.
