The fundraiser was inspired by five-month-old Callie Sloane, who has tetralogy of fallot, which is four abnormalities in the heart.
Callie's mum Caryn Pender said HeartKids was amazing when Callie was flown to Westmead Hospital shortly after birth.
"There's a 1800 number you can call whenever you need support," Ms Pender said.
"They also help other families with funding, finding accommodation ... and there's parents' education programs and in-hospital support."
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Paddy's Hotel has already begun the fundraising, which will culminate with manager Luke Mulligan shaving his beard and Callie's uncle shaving his head after seven years of growing his hair.
There will also be some raffles and an auction on the day, with a football jersey signed by Paul Gallen up for grabs.
Mr Mulligan thanked the local clubs that have also rallied behind the cause, including the Bathurst City Red Tops Soccer Club, which has been donating the funds received through its raffles.
The shave will commence at 5pm and all donations will be gratefully received.
