The university says the program is an opportunity for community groups, schools and individuals from CSU's regional communities to apply for grants of up to $1000.
Grants can be put towards regional programs in the areas of arts and culture, education, health and wellbeing, environmental sustainability, and sport.
"CUP Grants are a way for our community groups, schools and individuals to develop an idea or project that is beneficial for the local community," said CSU director of external engagement in Bathurst and Orange Julia Andrews said.
"The funding application process is not difficult, and we are looking for local projects that can often get overlooked in big funding rounds but for whom $1000 will really make a difference."
