In an 11am update, the SES said the Macquarie River at Bathurst may reach around 3.6 metres on Sunday evening.
The Bureau of Meteorology had the Macquarie at Bathurst at 3.05m at 11.45am on Sunday and steady - above the minor flood level of three metres.
IN OTHER NEWS AROUND BATHURST:
Bathurst Regional Council, in a noon update, said the Vale Road was open but had water over the road.
Those using the road were advised to drive with caution and observe the 40km/hr speed limit.
Council said Lagoon Road was closed due to water over the road between Vale Road and Gormans Hill Road.
Council said Lloyds Road was also closed.
