It was muddy and messy but that didn't stop more than 200 riders hitting the track at Panorama Motorcycle Club's ride park day on Sunday.

More than 50 volunteers had spent a fair chunk of Saturday preparing the track at a working bee and while there was a fair bit of rain in the afternoon, the track was still ideal for racing the following the day.
While there were some riders from Sydney, a majority of competitors came from across the region, including Mudgee, Parkes and Young.
Panorama Motorcycle Club president Mick Kovac, who has only been recently appointed, said it was a fantastic day.
"It's really great to have 200 plus riders at our first meeting of the year, it's really sensational," he said.
"It's really great for the kids. They've been waiting to come out and there's actually a lot of new kids that have come along, being their first time at the club."
The motorcycle club recorded about 20 millimetres of rain on Saturday, which helped settle the dust on the track, but it did mean wheels were caked with mud.
Of the riders in attendance, committee members believed almost 40 per cent were either new or returning to the sport after some time away.
Of the 203 riders that were present on Sunday, 23 fell in the nippers category (four to seven-year-old), 104 were aged seven to 16, while 76 were above the age of 16.
Committee members are now hoping that the positive turnout on Sunday will translate to a number of people signing up for the upcoming club series.
The club series, which is sponsored by Beard Brothers, is set to get underway this coming Sunday, the first of a six-race series that will be held over the course of the year.
The first round is next Sunday, February 6, followed by rounds on March 20, May 15, June 26, July 10 and July 31.
Sunday, August 21, has been reserved by the club in the case of rain washing out a round.
