The SES was predicting a peak for the river at Bathurst of around 3.6 metres, but that has been adjusted to 3.75m.
The SES is expecting that peak to be reached at around 7pm tonight (Sunday).
IN OTHER NEWS AROUND BATHURST:
In a 4.30pm update, Bathurst Regional Council said the Hereford Street low level bridge remained closed and it was expected to reopen on Monday morning "once the clean up has been completed".
The Bureau of Meteorology had the Macquarie River at Bathurst at 3.05 metres at 11.45am on Sunday, 3.66m at 3.30pm on Sunday and 3.65m at 4.30pm on Sunday.
All those heights were above the minor flood level of three metres.
The Macquarie was 4.27m at White Rock at 4.40pm on Sunday.
