It is because the star The Lagoon trainer-driver is part of Team Teal.
Turnbull is one of Harness Racing NSW's official ambassadors for the annual WomenCan Team Teal campaign which raises awareness and much-needed funds for ovarian cancer research.
It is the seventh year HRNSW has supported the Team Teal campaign, raising in excess of $200,000 for the cause through on-track performance.
The Team Teal initiative, through its various fundraising initiatives, has garnered more than $2 million since its inception.
This year Turnbull joins Ellen Bartley, KerryAnn Morris, Ashley Hart, Jemma Coney and Grace Panella in the teal colours throughout the campaign.
Together they will be looking to eclipse last year's record fundraising tally of more than $50,000 - calculated through on-track success during the campaign period by female drivers and trainers.
New South Wales is the only state to commit extra donations when female trainers achieve a race win. The tally will accrue through victories during the campaign period from 1 February to 15 March.
Every time Turnbull trains and drives a winner, it will inject $600 from HRNSW.
If she's in the gig for another trainer and wins it's a $400 donation and if someone else wearing teal - male or female - drives one of Turnbull's horses to victory it's also $400.
"Harness Racing New South Wales is delighted to again be supporting the Team Teal campaign," John Dumesny, HRNSW's chief executive said.
"We are an industry that is blessed with an amazing group of female participants and this is an opportunity shine a spotlight on their skills and raise money and awareness for a wonderful cause at the same time."
